I still can't get over the fact that Julie Andrews is the voice of the Leviathan. Who knew Mary Poppins could be so malevolent?

Fun fact : That Trident can do teleportation, Water manipulation, Weather control, Fire energy blasts, create islands, has magical abilities, its wielder rules the Sea and all the creatures in it. Further, it can pierce Superman's and even Darkseid's skin which is a huge feat in itself.

First it was Superman's first flight in Man of Steel. Then it was the no man's land scene in Wonder Woman. Now it's the one true king scene in Aquaman. DC absolutely kills it with these defining moments/introductions for their heroes.

Edit: can't forget the opening scene of BvS as the introduction to Bruce Wayne/Batman

A true warrior or hero doesn’t take all the glory because he has royal blood. He fights to protect those he care for.... his family and friends. That’s what I love about Arthur Curry.

People started cheering up and clapping their hands inside the cinema when he came out from that waterfall holding the trident and wearing his classic suit. One of the best moment in comic book movie imo.
