We drove from OKC to Russellville, Arkansas for the eclipse. They had 4 minutes and 13 seconds of Totality, with clear skies and it was AMAZING! “It’s something you can’t understand until you experience it” - YES!!!! 100%. I was so worried I’d be like, “That’s it?!” NOPE! It was so freakin awesome!

In Dallas we had some clouds, but when it went to totality the clouds broke and we got an outstanding view! It was awe inspiring.

I live at the center of the X, so got to see it with clear skies both this year, and back in 2017. One of the coolest things I've ever experienced.

We drive 17 hours to Dayton OH and had perfect weather for totality. What an amazing experience.

I drove from Michigan down about 170 miles to Indiana. I'd seen partial eclipses before and full lunar, but not anything like this. Just. Wow.

At 66 very little impresses me.

But when I could look at the sun during totality without glasses, I found myself stomping around an abandoned church lot in the middle of nowhere yelling, HOLY SH*T! over and over and over again. 2044, Baby!

Skipped class and drove from Pittsburgh, PA to Shelby, OH to see the totality and it was totally worth it. We didn’t plan well, so we ended up enjoying 3 minutes and 40 seconds of totality under clear skies after pulling into a church parking lot in the middle of nowhere in the absolute last second.

We were on the lake shore at the PA/Ohio state line. The sky cleared just as totality started. It went from light to dark like someone turned off a switch. There was an orange sunset glow that extended 360 degrees along the entire horizon. AMAZING. I was not able to get any great pics but at 67 years, I really only cared about being there and sharing the experience with my wife, Pam! Totality was awe. The moon's shadow was like death overtaking life, and the halo around that dark disc was heavenly and when the diamond ring appeared it was the moment you are positive that rebirth is not a fairytale. We turned to walk back to our car just to see an American Bald Eagle swoop by. I wasn't sure we picked the best spot, but I trust my wife and she never disappoints!

Dallas here! We fought the clouds all day but had a clearing right as totality hit. We were on a roof top and it was amazing! We partied on the roof tops for the rest of the day.

I'm a photographer in the Finger Lakes region of New York (3 hours to Niagara), and I an attest that every time a celestial event comes along, we have clouds and or rain. It's kind of the joke of the place. Great video! Keep them coming! I loved your Alaska Highway vid too!

My wife and I were gonna srive down to Niagara Falls Canada, but realized its overcast, so we stayed closer to home, about an hour north. Sky cleared right up 30 min before totality. What an amazing experience!

We heard so much about people going too Niagara's falls so thanks for capturing it for us. Go from the west coast of Canada where we didn't see it at all.

We saw the totality just outside Dallas and we had the opposite experience. Partly cloudy during the partial stage, with the sun coming in and out of view, but often times behind the clouds, but a minute before totality it cleared up and we saw the totality for nearly 4 1/2 minutes unobstructed. Sorry you couldn't experience the totality like that but it's nice that you guys could experience it together with others as well. The communal aspect really made it even more special. Most mind blowing experience ever.

I saw the total eclipse in my front yard near Cleveland, OH. It was absolutely incredible!!! My husband and I agreed that we would travel just to experience it again. Once in a lifetime opportunity and I’ll never forget it. I’m sorry you didn’t get to see the totality part but glad you got the experience nonetheless!

We flew with some friends who have a small airplane, from Minnesota to Southern Illinois, we took in the site in the middle of corn fields. It was clear with no clouds, saw the full eclipse, well worth the trip!

We traveled from our home state of Alabama & saw it from the small town of Russell, Arkansas. The weather was just about perfect. I shot video but was unprepared - no filter nor tripod. There was a huge solar flare that was very obvious to the naked eye. It got very dark there. My video falls short of showing what we actually saw. Awesome video on your part! I love your videos, keep up the good work.

Amazing!! Even though it was cloudy, you guys experienced the day turn into night. Then back into day again within a matter of minutes. What an experience! Here in California, it was sunny but we never got more than a quarter of the sun being blocked.
