It took me years, lots of paperwork, medical tests, background checks, most of my lifes savings and many visits to the INS offices before being granted the privilege of taking an oath of allegiance and becoming a US Citizen. Honor, integrity and the utmost respect for the rules and laws should be required by anyone who desires to be part of our nation.

I am an engineer and my wife is a nurse practitioner and we have one son. We both have masters degrees and have been working since we graduated. We paid our taxes, became debt free not too long ago from student loans and worked our asses off and we are living paycheck to paycheck in California paying almost 2k a month for daycare and paying our mortgage in a tiny home. Can’t believe it has come down to this where we can’t live comfortably when we are giving our tax money to other countries wars and migrants receiving free housing and money.. unbelievable.
