Using synthetic division to evaluate a polynomial at a given value

A quick way to run a number through a polynomial is to use synthetic division and look at the remainder. This is a direct result of the Remainder Theorem and is much faster than plugging the number in for the variable in most cases. In this video examples will be given using a negative number, a positive number, and a complex nonreal number.
