6 pears (3 pears cubed, 3 pears fanned)
2/3 cup (150ml) neutral oil (avocado, sunflower, canola etc.)
1 1/4 cups (225 grams) sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. (6 grams) vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups (330 grams) flour
6 tbsp. (45 grams) cornflour
3 tsp. (12 grams) baking powder
1/2 cup (115 ml) whole milk
1 cup (190 grams) dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
powdered (icing) sugar to dust

I probably won't make this recipe from scratch, but I'll definitely use chocolate chips and fanned pears method for another cake recipe around Christmas.

I love pears when they're nice and soft. I never peel them, just wash and eat. Pears and prunes go together really well and so does chocolate and prunes.

I have a Well & Good gluten free all purpose cake mix ready to go Saturday afternoon. I'll be adding carrot, zucchini and walnuts to the batter.
Hmmmm 🤔 maybe a few slices of pear on top.

Do you dehydrate the pear peels? They'd be nice as chips.
