I get that there's some serious Red War lore behind the menagerie weapons, but those models were reskins of a D1 weapons. The teased Beyond Light guns have been pooped on as well, but if it goes pew-pew, and makes the deads, I think it's ok.

Kind of disappointed with those “Ornaments”. It’s literally a shader with the Crucible, Vanguard or Gambit insignia on the cloth around the body of the gun.

Bungie needs to focus on a meaty campaign and then the weapons

Thing is, we've been getting reskined pinnacle and ritual weapons since the start...
Recluse is just a veist smg from year one with a crucible paint job, Loaded Question is Main Ingredient, Revoker is using Destiny 1's Tao Hua Yuan model but it's red and pointy, Luna's is Lord High Fixer From D1, etc... Only exception is mountaintop, even then it wouldn't be too hard to add that plunger to a grenade launcher and called it a day. Hell, Beloved is just a modified version of LDR from D1 (and the ornament turns it back into the og LDR model)

So if you're going to complain about the new pursuit weapon, then at least complain about the rest of the pinnacle/ritual weapons being reused

It made sense when the players were annoyed by the fact that the garden raid gear was a re-skin, the outrage from the current situation is honestly ridiculous.
