The fact that the DLC is named Overture has my ears prepped for more Orchestral Masterpieces.

Lies of P is like sitting alone in a French restaurant, in the Belle Époque, old by age, outside table, looking at the living city and people passing by, at a snowy night, with a musician playing a sad violin song, and you remind of all the good and bad times you had through your life, and a tear drops from your eyes, while you rest your old body and soul in that cozy place.

Some details I noticed:

The 'M' on the coat in front of the wax man is likely for Monad, i.e Valentinus Monad, Sophia's father. This is further reinforced by the red-colored mansion we see the Legendary Stalker and P walking up on later having a letter "M" above it's gate, as well as rose statues. This is most likely the Monad Charity House, also known as the Rose Estate.

Unlike the other Overture trailer, we don't see the lamp on The Legendary Stalker (who I will now refer to as TLS)'s waist for the first half of the trailer. It's not until 1:26 when it is on her hip, unilluminated (indicating Gemini is not inside of it yet). By the time we see the Rose Estate, she has Monad's Lamp on her waist, illuminated and fully matching P's, indicating that perhaps Gemini has now been transferred inside. Because of this, it seems like her going there with P is likely her returning and not an opportunity for us to witness the Rose Estate incident firsthand.

Besides the Rose Estate itself, TLS seems to have quite a big relationship to roses. She takes the M pendant from the wax man's coat, and wears it herself with the addition of a rose around its edges. The pocket watch P shows her to stop her from killing him also has roses engraved on it. My guess is that this all ties in with the Rose Estate Incident. TLS might even be Sophia's mother, and potentially the one who founded the rose estate, hence her connection with the flower. That's a bit speculative, though. It would make sense why Sophia regards Gemini in such a brotherly manner, since he was presumably raised by TLS.

Edit: The 'M' badge may in fact actually be a badge worn by the members or staff of the Monad Charity House itself. The "Someone's Memory" outfit is a school uniform for (presumably) the Monad charity house. As such, the coat could be any number of people, not necessarily Valentinus himself. The wax man does bear an uncanny resemblance to the statue outside Krat Central Station though.

I started to play Lies of P because I liked the gameplay trailer. I fell in love with Lies of P because of its atmosphere and characters. And now, after more than a year, I will forever lose my sanity and heart to this piece of art. What a wonderful, and sad journey it will be. Thank you for making this game!
