Seems somewhat random as to how many you get. Did trials 4.1 twice, got 80k and 50k at level 45. I'm wondering if enemy count is based on the quality of skills you have in the level. If you have higher star skills early you get more enemies.

Max out Force field and guardians and HE fuel, go to the trials, go to the first level or abandoned farmed and run forward. If you’re on chapter 12 or higher everything will die immediately
