How to fix Delonghi magnifica with no water coming out

I love this video. I had a similar problem - only few drops coming out from the coffee machine. I solved the problem by running the descaling process two times. Only little solution came out during the first run. When I repeated the process, the machine was cleaned and solution started to come out as normal. I assume that my machine was not so badly clogged. Either way, I will be descaling my machine regularly as indicated by the machine from now on :-)

Does the water come through the steamer when you had this problem or was no water at all? I'm wondering if I have the same issue as in my Delonghi the water going through the steamer just not going through the coffee nozzles.

Very helpful. I would not take the tank side panel off before taking the top off. Sliding both side panels back reveals the front screws that hold top on. Then lift the top off and there is then on stress on the tank side panel clips.

Great video! I experienced the same issue, will try to follow the same procedure.
In case the water doesn't flow even in the first pipe (the one before the boiler), what would be the right thing to do? Replacing the pump?

Just got one of these reconditioned and it seems to be doing the exact same thing. Bet they descaled it and it sat until I ordered it...

I wonder if the operation can be done without removing the clogged component, since it seems there is enough access to the water pipes and get the metal wire in there to clean out the clo.g

Any thoughts?

Hello. Thank you for nice movie. Also have the problem of no hot water coming out. When I press hot water (button), the pump is NOT getting 230.V The pump self is OK, because i can make koffie. What could possibly go wrong? thanks in advance, mvg, lex

I bought my DeLonghi Magnifica XS from Costco MN
120 v - 60 HZ 1250 W
Type ECAM 22110 B
P= 1.5 MPa (15 bar)
When I took it to North Africa and by mistake I plugged it in 220 V
I smelled little burning. I still can turn it on I can hear the coffee grinding all screen look good with green and yellow light but it doesn't dispense water nor a coffee.
Please help.

Question - if the water at 1:21 comes out slow; but the water pump to water pitcher/carafe is clear/into the pump. Then coming out of pump it’s really slow.

Kinda shocking cause it stopped pretty quickly…after working this morning. My concern is somehow a plug of coffee is stuck in the pump itself.

Any thoughts on what to do?
