Joker Knives are made for Spanish hard wood like olive trees, pines, etc.. We think a knife price can't be more than 100 or 120 euros. This is our market. We use bohler N695, Sandvik 14c28N which are good steels, they work well, resist the corrosion well too and keep the edge so good. This a beast knife, not very heavy and their lines are made to work, this is not a tactical knife. I recommend 2 u, the Joker Bushcrafter and the Joker Ember to do fine works. The Joker Montañero is a good option too. I'm a huge fan of this channel. Greetings from Spain

Hi Aaron from Spain, thanks to your great work, Joker has taken note with the Nomad 5” cover and all of them are sewn without snaps; now it's perfect!! What a magnificent tool. 👍🏻

Man as a half Spanish guy you made me so happy. Never dared to buy a Spanish knife because the most reviewed knifes always are Scandinavian or American. I saw the knife and loved it and when i saw you called it EPIC i ordered it immediately 😉👍🏼🔪 thanks!!! Greetings from a proud Spaniard.

I had the same problem with the snaps on the sheath’s belt loop popping open even with light use. Super glue on the snaps is only a short term fix that can give up on you when you least expect it (tried it). I finally drilled out the snaps and replaced them with Loctited Chicago screws. Those are not coming loose unless I want to remove them.

Great knife! regarding the buttons for the sheath: Drill out the buttons and replace them with grommets or rivets! :D

I bought the joker nomad and the joker bushcrafter. I have many knives ranging from tops, esee, coldsteel knives with 3v steel about 4, kabar, Benchmade, lion steel etc etc. I've seen dark timbers and used them and used sooo many knives. I own quite a collection. But seriously hands down I've never had a knife cut and produce work like my joker knives. The nomad cuts like a mora and so does the smaller bushcrafter. It came razor sharp out of the box a and its simple as pie to resharpen. My jokers r my favorite knives. And I never saw it coming.

I am fully with you. I've owned so many knives for decades, but after watching this episode I had to order two from Joker. The Nomad and the Ember (Scandi) and I have to say I am indeed deeply impressed with them.
Epic knives, epic scenery (would still love to get lost there), epic channel.

Have a great, healthy and prosperous New Year.

I’d love to get myself lost in the Blue Ridge Mountains in northern Georgia! My in-laws moved there several years ago & I LOVE it there... enough to rethink my retirement plans... Thanks for what you do! Merry Christmas, All!!

Thank you for the review, bought one for myself and one for my dad. Love the design and durability and the capability. Made a dangler for it and flared out the top rim of the sheath so it will slide in better. Thanks again. Love watching your reviews.

Just received my nomad. Ordered it after seeing your review. I gotta say it is a lovely knife. Living in the uk it’s great to have a option for knives a bit closer to home instead of ordering from the US all the time. The only problem I now have is I’m eyeing up another 3 joker knifes. Absolutely love the thing. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Keep up the good honest reviews. God bless

I would love to get lost with the Joker Nomad in The Belgium Ardennen. The stainless steel would come in handy because it rains a lot over there.

I'd love to get lost around the Scottish coast and islands with the Joker Nomad. That knife with the N695 would be a great do-all knife in those conditions. Merry Christmas everyone!

I'd prefer to get lost with the Joker Nomad in the Great Smoky Mountains along the Appalachian trail.

Depends on the time of the year. Summer? Anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, never been. Winter? El Yunque National Forest, won't get much below fifty and I won't stay lost much longer than I want to.

Muy buena revisión del Nomad. Es de las mejores que he visto. Sigue así. Un saludo desde España.
Very good review of the Nomad. It is one of the best I have seen. Keep it up. A greeting from Spain.

Another option is to remove the snaps and replace them with 2 chicago screws which will solve the problem quick and easy. You can get them at tandy leather. I personally do not like snaps at all just for these reasons as they can get caught on things and get unsnapped so I always try to avoid them or replace them when ever I can with something better.
