A/C Blower motor stays on after I remove the ignition key, Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, full size trucks and SUVs and some mid size trucks and SUVs.
How to diagnose/check and replace the blower resister/ blower module.

nice clear explanation as to what is going on. Too many times its just replace it with no reasons. GM does some wierd things with their electrical systems. I work on industrial engines and equipment and its all designed to be fail safe. ie: fail in the off position.

Here's an important tip regarding all fuses. My directional signal stopped working and at another time my blower failed. I pulled the fuse in the panel at the driver's end of the dash, checked the fuse for being blown and corrosion, scrapped the blades with my thumb nail and saw a white substance appear. I whipped them off on a course rage and reinstalled it and I haven't had a problem since. Moisture in some form must get in.

Saw on a different video, if you leave that big green square guse out, the fan turns off, and you can still use speeds 1-4...but speed 5 wont work...just a wuick fix if its hot out and you want AC....im here in texas and it got hella hot today haha...i can deal with speeds 1-4 for now

I replace the heater resistor and the blue again so you think is the AC unit
