Hi morethanconquerors79,
my tuning on the 7-string is Drop A (A-E-A-D-G-B-e) = normal guitar Tuning plus additional deep A (for 1-finger-Powerchords)
You can see the tuning in the videotabulatur round about 00:14 min. (stop quickly ;-)
Paul an Mauro from Ravenscry are using 8-strings for this song (normal guitar tuning plus addtional deep B and much more deeper F#)

the guitar is so vocal. sounds so much better than original (the singing is the only thing holding it back really).
