After those games, Rayman never appeared again, save for his guest appearance in the Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope DLC.

Rayman is another one of those franchises that I missed out on.

Origins was my first Rayman. I remember seeing the commercials and thinking the game looked weird and ugly. Well, kid me was stupid because my mom got it for me and my brothers randomly, and we loved playing it growing up. The artstyle has aged amazingly.

I’m glad that it kinda lives on because a majority of the levels are in Legends.

It kills me the Rayman reboot did not make it past Legends. It was a solid platformer with great music levels.

I should pick up Origins. I _love_ Legends and still replay it to this day, whether on PS3 or PC.

Right now I think I could probably count Card-en-Ciel as one. It came around the same time as Sonic X Shadow Generations, Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut, Ys 10, Mario and Luigi Brothership and Dragon Quest 3 HD2D.

Even if you were craving a new Battle Network-style game, you'd probably only find it if you were already keeping up with Inti Creates' youtube channel.

I played both origins and legends and I wish for more of rayman, it doesn't seem like my wish will be answered...

It is rather weird that Rayman Origins didn't do that well, especially when they had characters like the Nymphs. And if you know, you know what I'm talking about.

Honestly I prefer Origins over Legends, I just didn't like how they noticeably lowered the difficulty in Legends. Rayman Origins wasn't hard a game, so I don't get why they needed to make Legends easier.

Damn I didn't think Origins would've been outperformed by three Rabbids games at the same time. That's honestly kind of sad especially since I think Origins is a better game despite my love for Rabbids Land & Alive & Kicking. (Rabbids Rumble kinda sucks in my opinion)
