I just love that the first journal immediately lets you know that there are onis on the island. Of course, with this being Lara's origin story, she does not believe it is real. What makes it even creepier is how the journal also details how a Japanese soldier went missing at night without a single trace. Incredibly spooky stuff. And I love it.
