Hey Jenn! I just finished reading The Vegetarian by Han Kang and I feel like you'd really like it! It's a bit hard to describe but essentially, it's a thriller/parable/drama about a woman who suddenly refuses to eat meat due to a dream she had, and eventually this rejection of meat grows exponentially out of control and she just wants to reject human cruelty altogether. It's a pretty short book to begin with but it'll go by extremely fast- I actually could not put it down until I got to the very last page. It definitely shook me to the core and it took a bit of time before I could fully process it all, but 10/10 would recommend to a friend! Also, side note: congrats on your engagement! Sososo happy for you, Ben, and Cheeki and I wish you the best of luck on the wedding planning craziness to come!
