HUGE News: FL Cloud SOUNDS Beta (What it is? How it works?)

The Image-Line team is excited to announce ‘FL Cloud’, further integrating FL Studio’s capabilities with the Web. We're starting with a large library of loops and samples which can be found under the new SOUNDS tab in the browser. Naturally, we’ll continue to expand these offerings over time and during the beta-phase.

FL Cloud integrates online sound libraries, content, tools and services directly into FL Studio. The aim is to reduce your workload and distractions providing more time to stay in the creative zone. We began with FLEX, our first web-integrated product with online content. With the release of FL Studio 21 we expanded the content to the Library Tab in the Browser, allowing users to download and install, not only, sample libraries but FL Studio components, like Themes, with a single click. The fast uptake and heavy use of these features by our customers shows we love working this way.

FL Cloud’s sound library is available from the new 'Sounds' Tab in the Browser, accessed with your existing Image-Line account. The workflow contains direct drag and drop into your project, right-click context menu for samples, audio previews and integrated search.

Access to FL Cloud is free during the Beta period and you can keep what you download. While there will always be freely available content in FL Cloud, we will be introducing paid content later also. All sounds, free and paid, are royalty free for FL Studio Customers.

Please try FL Cloud and let us know what you think. We’d be happy to know what content, features, services and/or tools you would like to see in it.

It’s like splice, but from Image-Line 😎

FL Studio Cloud Sounds would be revolutionary if we can link a file storage account so we can use our own kits and one shots, that would be perfect

For every fl user definitely no need for splice anymore that’s for sure

Seeing three scenarios here:
1. Finally my dream comes true having the things more integrated inside FL and quitting to other services like Splice. I am not saying that at the beginning it will be better than Splice, but surely with the time it will offer a bigger library of sounds. It is insane the options when importing the sounds and having the samples ready to plug and play. I just got goosebumps here.
2. Waiting for the other new features like mastering assistant to just pee on my pants. Not the same as a professional engineer of course, but quite decent to have a better perspective about the final sound of your material once it is finished.
3. Seeing many moving from Ableton Live to FL Studio after this. I never understood why some people say that FL is not a serious DAW. It is the only company that listen to everybody and surprise us with the best improvements every time. I never regret using FL since the first version of the app, I am prouder than ever.

Will there ever be a way for us to publish our own stuff to the FL Cloud?

is there a way to download a whole pack at once instead of every sample one by one? :o

But where are the samples coming from? What library image line prod only?

I wonder if their prices will be competitive with Splice.

I understand that I can go shopping for loops in FL Cloud - and then download them and bring them into my FL Studio projects. But what about licenses? Am I allowed to use these loops in my projects, from concept until mastering and distribution? Or is there a restriction that won’t allow me to distribute my own songs using these loops?

Thanks for this great video — and thanks for your advice 😀🎶

Is there a way to download an entire pack? To keep samples from the same pack together? this is already getting a little messy in my FL browser.

Can you please find a way to link our W.A. Productions library with the FL Cloud users for the free version. I know I get everything free that first month, but I want a link to my WA Sounds that I have purchased that are maintained by WA and be able to use them in my DAW. Let me know if you guys are working on something like this?

How do I remove sounds I accidentally added into my library? I was checking out sounds from a random pack and my cursor dragged it and it automatically added it to my downloads in the cloud. I can’t figure it out. This is very frustrating
