Liricí:

Cúrfá 1

Seo linn le chéile, can amach os ard é
Seo linne d'aon ghuth amháin
Seo linn a chairde buan', 'sé atá i ndán dúinn
Seo linn ag tabhairt faoi le cion

Tá sí fós anseo, 's airím an nós
Go bhfuil an t-athrú ' tíocht, ar ár n-intinn óó
Céard dhó a sheasaim? Céard dhó a sheasaim?
Seo linn, an rud is mó, Í 'bheith beo

Véarsa 1

Seo'd é anois é - seo'd é an t-am - is cinnte go bhfuil muid in ann
Beart 'nár gcroíthe 's ár n-anam
Líon an t-easnamh, seas an fód -- leag aon chonstaic insan ród
Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireas an croí go deo
Rachaidh muid le chéile ina treo

Droichead 1

Ardaíonn mo chroí -- glór na bpáistí 's iad ag spraoi
Is beag a sháraíonns na briathra binne gléigeal gléigeal
Seo 'd anois é, seo 'nois é mmm mmm

Cúrfá 2

Seo linn a Ghaelaibh, mairfeadh muid gach lá í,
Cuir spraoi 's bród insan saol
Seo linn go fonnmhar, áthasach 's gliondar
Seo linn gan casadh siar riamh

Tá sí fós anseo, 's airím an nós
Go bhfuil an t-athrú ' tíocht, ar ár n-intinn(e) óó
Céard dhó a sheasaim? Céard dhó a sheasaim?
Seo linn, an rud is mó, 'nois an t-am

An Chaint

Seo 'nois é,
Arbh í an chúis a bhí a'inn le 'aidh seo?
A 'ghoil sa mbeana bhaoil le 'aidh seo?
A' cailleadh cairde 's gaol le 'aidh seo?

Ach, nuair a fheicim na réalta, farraigí 's sléibhte - airím an tsaoirse
'S nuair a chloisim glórtha 's amhráin ár sinsir -- 'Nois an t-am
an t-am, Ó AN tAM

Véarsa 2

Seo'd anois é - seod é an t-am - trí nóiméad istigh i nglór amháin
A thosaigh amach gan aon treoir, 's ag díriú ar ár bplean
Muid aontaithe anois faoi stiúir an cheoil, ag cuimhniú siar ar lucht na ndeor
Ach ná ceap go ngéillfeadh muid
Ár dteanga a mhair na cianta

Droichead 2

Is minic mé ag brionglóid ar scéalta Thír na nÓg,
's Oisín agus Niamh Chinn Óir
Ó Ní chreidfeá ariamh, go bhfillfeadh an deis aríst,
Tá orainne ' bheith ann...
Le chéile...EA EAA EA EAAAA

An Chríoch

Leanfadh muid mianta ár sinsir ag tíocht anuas ó laethanta cianda,
Nárbh fhada an lá arís
Tír le teanga, Tír le h-anam
'Sí do thír í, déan do rogha....ó....
Tír le teanga, Tír le hAnam
'Sí do thír í, déan do rogha....ó....

Ireland - still the only independent Celtic nation, and yet apparently unable to put the effort into its language: compare that to Welsh - 1600 years of the Saes trying to wipe it out, and now Welsh Medium Schools are a government policy, with more and more of those being opened. Get your act together.

As someone who has 3 sons who have gone to lurgan, I'm afraid you really have no idea. Lurgan is passionate in promoting Gaeilge, making sure the students learn the language in a fun way ie... through music, sport, social interaction etc. They made friends for life!
The songs are translated and all the students learn them. No limelight...just making the language 'cool' and fun. So much work went into this! No need for negative comments.
Someone will always knock enthusiasm and innovation! Sad!

The Irish immigrants to America have helped make us who we are today. It's great to see that Irish is being preserved, and taught! Love the songs and the bright future ahead. God bless all you do!

I'm watching a lot of Irish music videos and I've realised how amazing Irish is and what others think of it. It really makes me proud of our language and for being able to understand it. Thanks to this channel for making these videos!

I've looked Death in the eye more times in my life than I'd care to count. I've often reflected on those moments and wonder...how on earth did I live through that, or I must have had an Angel on my shoulder...know I know...I've lived to find this song..I don't even have words to describe how amazing this is

Every time I tune into YouTube, you guys always sound amazing and I'm trying to teach myself a little Gaelic while I'm listening and watching YouTube. Please, never NEVER stop. You guys are so important to keeping this language alive and I'm sure myself and so many other people appreciate it.

Tá sé go hálainn, tá sé go hiontach ar fad... This is wonderful and gives me hope in so many ways: reveling in seeing the passing of the torch to the next generation, their enthusiasm about making it a *living*, breathing everyday language, the flexibility of Irish music to embrace, meld and fuse with the changing of times while remaining passionate about its roots. All of these together ensures its survival. Oh yeah, you've captivated the world without even trying to do so. Keep going Colaiste Lurgan.

as a father of seven children, here in Canada, i have taught my children the importance of their roots, their hero, a young fifteen year old Irish lad from county poles who had the courage to cross the pond in 1815...it is from this stock we come, it is from this language we spoke and will speak again...thank-you from my soul.

Das ist ein wunderbares Lied, was noch wunderbarer gesungen wurde. Ich liebe es! Mein nächster Flug geht nach Irland. Ich höre das Lied 4 x am Tag. DANKE
