Hello Mike... I have been using Audition for more than 5 years now and also work on sound forge pro. What I am looking for is Fade in and Fade out hotkeys or shortcut in Audition. In sound forge, for removing or lowering breaths or plosives I could select the area and use fade in first and fade out and boom it actually does a decent Job. Though it's a manual way of removing plosives and breaths I find it better than the automated one that sounds unnatural to me. There are fade in and fade out option in Audition but I don't know how to assign them. Also there are multiple options to choose from, like linear fade in and other different types of fading options. I hope you got the question.
