Whanganui is it worth a visit?

Kokako Lodge Wanganui-bookabach 4.7 stars
Amazing Host, She let us store our e-bikes at the main house and treated us to some exceptional baking.
Kokako Lodge is a compact self-contained haven, with upcycled rustic decor. The lodge sits on their family property of 1 acre and is some distance from the main house. The lodge is private and quiet.

We had 2 meals here at Caroline’s Boatshed Bar and Eatery

We visited Whanganui for a few hours in 2019 during our trip to NZ from the UK. We loved the house at 5 mins 16 secs, it looks no different now. We'll be back in the Wellington area in September and will definitely be heading for the paddle steamer, we never even knew it was there last time. Thanks for the video

Hi. Great video. I'm from Whanganui and am a great fan of the shared pathways. It was'nt till recent years that we better utilized the riverbank corridor in this manner. The video has a bonus or two for trainspotters like myself lol.
