1. What is No Man's Land?

NML is a game that aims to represent the late stages of the first World War. The original scope of the game was a roleplay/reenactment game, but we have expanded it to also include a separate FPS game. The game will take place in an inspecific battle on the Western front set vaguely within 1917-1918. We want to allow our players to have flexibility.

2. Release window?

The full release NML is planned to released within a year ( sometime between October 2023 and October 2024 ). The RP build will release quicker, as it requires less resources. 70% of the game's progress have been made in the last 6 months, with a 3-man team ( Airzac on scripting, Swiv on animations, Ack on animations/modelling). The game will officially be released under Fragile Entertainment.

3. What will the RP look like?

The RP version will follow traditional text-RP conventions, with narratives being playerled. This section will be dedicated for people who care about reenacting the grittier and specific aspects of WW1. This game will require basic historical knowledge, writing skills, and imagination. This mode is not for everyone.

4. Why a RP, won't that just take resources from the FPS game?

Fragile Entertainment has and will always cater to the Roleplay community. We find that RP is better suited than FPS for playermade narratives and MilSim. Roleplay games also require a very low amount of scripting compared to other types of games. We understand that everyone likes RP ( unfamiliar people have this strange hatred for RP ), but we suggest that you treat this as a showcase.

For people familiar with the RP scene ( talking about old school ATF-style RP, not generic frontpage slop ), this game will be a more accessible version of Verdun/A Soldier's Poem, with some aspects being toned down.

5. What will the FPS be like?

The FPS build will be chaotic and "fastpaced". Many MilSim aspects like food/water will be removed for the sake of pacing. We understand that while MilSim aspects are nice, they detract from gameplay. If you want a MilSim, learn how to roleplay.

This is a masterpiece. It combines all the good aspects of Roblox WW1 games, but makes it 10x more realistic, and very immersive. Fantastic job to Ack, who made this masterpiece, and I am so hyped for the release of NML! Can't wait to play it, and I'm excited for the RP aspect as well! Happy development :)

If I were to understand just from the trailer, I would say what it will be like (based on the trailer): a game that shows the land of the First World War, the lost generation, the map will be gigantic, everything controlled by Players, from artillery to infantry soldiers, I hope it has the same proposal as Shell Shock, where you spend a lot of time in the trench, and the attacks are always brutal, the community of First world war games, we're tired of games where you attack and die and that's all, we want what the first world war really was, like nothing new on the front I hope it's released Cell phone (so it could easily have more than 1k players) Where there would be screams like Centaura, and fluid gameplay like Entrenched, I hope they use the trenches a lot, and it's very realistic like it was in the first world war, where you can get traumatized playing Centaur type. (I'm going to give some tips that I would like in my opinion: a stopped game, as when an attack starts, everything turns into terror, the trenches are used a lot, there is a system of Fear/insanity, hunger and thirst, it was very easy to die, realistic war systems, having officers, or the general staff doing strategy)

I am a huge history nerd and finally seeing a role play game with actual mechanics, a separate fps mode, amazing graphics, and not front page here’s some animations and a house now role play shit is so refreshing and exiting. I wish you luck, I will 100% be playing.
