Hello everyone!!! Join me visiting one of the most beautiful Greek Orthodox church.
Inside the church, what caught my attention was the Dome ceiling, painted the icon of 'Christ the Almighty' , it gives the impression of the Kingdom of God. Really it amased me, very beautiful. The Orthodox church often have icons painted on the wall. Icons bears witness to the reality of Gods presence in the mystery of faith, it is venerated but not worshipped, its not just a human picture or visual aids, it is for contemplation and prayers.
As I kneel down to pray, i kept on looking around the church, i can sense all the icons are looking at me. What a great experience!
