As a current Myeloma patient, thank you for posting this explanation. Many people have never even heard of this cancer. It is not easy to navigate any cancer diagnosis. This one in particular has made Covid that much more difficult, especially having two kids in school

I have a good friend with multiple myeloma. When she had her first two doses of an mRNA vaccine, she had no side effects. But on her third dose she had body aches, fever, chills, and fatigue, which indicated a fairly robust immune response. I’m hoping third time was a charm. I just don’t know how long the vaccine’s protection will last.

If I understand this video correctly, it means that those of us who are dealing with or caring for people with multiple myeloma, vaccines in general, like the annual flu vaccine, are also less effective in those cancer patients. While sad to hear, I am glad for this video post so their risks are better understood. Thanks for posting...

Thank you, Dr. Seheult. Would you be willing to make another video on the topic of vaccine options for patients with multiple myeloma, as well as those with MGUS? Thanks for your consideration!

Why wasn't he warned that it can behave in such a way or was he just mandated to take it, no matter what?

Thank you, Dr. Seheult, for the extremely important and timely videos. Your explanations, knowledge, presentations are so easy to understand, and without being condescending which is appreciative. Plus your voice is very calming.
I am constantly sharing your videos on other social platforms, and emails.

I have multiple myeloma and had a horrible experience after my second dose of Moderna - it took months to recover. The first one was fine. I’m scared to death to get the booster. Any further insights would be welcomed. No one can give me a straight answer.

My wife is going through chemo for breast cancer and her doctors won't give an opinion on whether her immune system is compromised and if she should get a vaccine booster.
"I suggest you seek CDC guidelines" is the only answer we get.
How about a video on what exterior influences can lower someone's antibodies and make them more susceptible to severe covid and whether the vaccine isn't as efficient for people under these circumstances and also makes them more susceptible?

thanks for all these highly interesting videos! I have a question 🙋🏻‍♀️. Are there any study results yet about the side effects of the vaccination? Especially why some people (including me) have delayed allergic reaction at the puncture site? I have a red hot rash that is swollen, itches and hurts if you press. It started to spread from the day after the vaccination (Moderna) and it is still hot, the area is red and hard under the skin 3 days after the vaccination. Area is about a small palm-size now... I couldn’t find any answers to why this is happening. First shot I got: only a little hurt, nothing more. 2nd shot was ok also. But the 3rd one is now reacting really strong. All 3 times I got the Moderna vaccine.

Hi Doctor, my wife is wanting me to get vaccinated, but I told her no because I am a healthy person in my 40's. What would you suggest?
