6 years ago I was at a conference where people were saying "you'll be able to tell a plugin that you want a cat, in this style, animated to do these things, and have these parameters -- and then simply import it into your game scene". I thought it was crazy. Today is crazy. We are at a breaking point where lots of interactive development is going to be completely revolutionized. This is the industrial revolution of the digital age.

I would love more videos on this! I want to try and use this for an ARPG game and have yet been successful on how to achieve this with midjourney, mainly having a problem getting a character into the game. Again would be awesome to see and im so happy to have found your channel!

Really I wanted to learn unity, but the time I have is very little, being jobless and age is very hurting and stress I go through is very high. I tried many tutorials, and all I got in my recommendation was brackers, channels. It's very old video and that dude says things so difficult. I just came to know bing AI can create pictures so I played around . I have an idea on sprite but never understand it. Your 12:47 minutes of video is worth of gold. It's easy super easy. Simple. I know little bit of photos editing terminology. So i cleary now understand what sprite is and how actually make an game assets, nobody every showed the Photoshop thing and also rigging part. Thankyou so much sir. You are wonderful

I would recommend the color pick tool at images with this flat background.
Then just select the background and mask it.
Then mask the rest out.
Way easier.

Definitely useful to quickly prototype something when you want to have a bit more visual fidelity other than simple shapes and colors. To be able to better feel what the game could look like.

yes many coders and non artists are doing that thing for their games, you can also make realistic textures

Thanks for making this available! I also shared it on Twitter. Amazing results you got there!

This is insanely helpful for prototyping, thanks a lot man.🍻

As a lot of people said, it's good for prototyping... An art director would be needed at least, to blend all these assets in a cohesive composition, adding depth, adjusting rim lights, thinking about storytelling thru the art elements and so on.

looks like a asset flip, but with much more steps

how did you animate the grass part of the sprite-shape? Where can I find out how to animate the grass part of the sprite-shape?

The intro music reminds me of what Picards played on the xylophone in the episode with the empath who married the other guy :)

"color to alpha" is the easiest way to remove a background IMO. It's a lot easier to fill back in, and handles some of the finer edges for hair/wispy art.

This is incredible, you explained the process so well😄 Does it take long to generate? I wonder, can I create 2D assests for games in unity using BlueWillow? Please share a beginner friendly tutorial on this next. As a designer who just started using this new tool, I need all the help I can get

I like how the AI generated the original stolen artist's signature

it will be great when they can generate images with transparency

It's pretty insane how good it's getting in such a short amount of time. It's difficult to even know at a first glance that it wasn't made by hand. I'm really excited for AI Art in the use of indie games and such, and hopefully the AI coding equivalent gets better too! The more people sharing their imaginative creations the better, really excited to see what people come up with.
