13 players out of contract and loans finished heavily reducing our wage tally in the summer.. fees for bacuna, dembele, jordan james ( 5-8 m to stade rennes ), miyoshi among others in this window has facilitated this spending spree.. we also started the 1st year in the 3 year ffp spending cycle. in league 1 owners are permitted to put in their money so i here a 20m transfer budget wont come into ffp in 3 years by that time we will have made back revenue to cover it.. 17 players back through the door 3-4 being loans with options to buy the summer of dreams after 10 years of no investment and management chaos we birmingham fans deserve this come back .. That amount of money for League one is ridiculous. As an Argyle fan I hate to say it but he’s going to tear that league to shreds.

Fantastically measured and balanced answer to that last question.

blessing in disguise going down, with no ffp rules we have been able to build a very strong squad

I’m sure the owners are well aware of the ffp rules and would have taken them into consideration before making the offer to Fulham, I do wonder though how close were Fulham to breaking the ffp rules that they accepted the 15 million offer or will they be using the money when the next transfer window opens ? I’m surprised that another premier league club didn’t come in with an offer.

Loads of salty fans on here 😂😂😂
Need to worry about how they are gonna stop the mighty Blues putting 5 or 6 past them instead of making petty comments

Regards to the money being spent...no differennt to any other league in any other country.
Just in our nation, Man C, Man Utd, Liverpool!!! Outspending others.
Chelsea under Abramovich...spent, then won.

Birmingham never learn. The fans will be loving this. But they know behind the scenes it’s never good financially. Been like it for a decade.

TBH we were in for him but no way could we compete at that price. I think we’ve got the better deal taking Tom Cannon and Louis Koumas on a 1 year loan. £15m is a massive gamble for this guy and I honestly think Cannon and Koumas are better players

But will Birmingham City return to the Championship or will they stay in League One.
