Sony A7s - Atomos Shogun 4k Recorder + Powerstation Solution, IBC 2014 Amsterdam

In this video an overview of the new Fieldmonitor/4k Recorder of Atomos. It is one of the few options to record 4k on th A7s!

HAHAHAHHAHA! So this just underscores what smart people already figured out a long time ago: You're NEVER... going to shoot at 4K with this camera. For less... LESS mind you... than the price of this gigantic thing... you can have a GH4 with a 12-35mm lens... and some memory cards. And a really nice hotel room.

Does 4K into the Shogun look crisper on the 1080p screen than 1080p going into the shogun?

hi, i just bought a sony pxw sf 7, does this mean i can use this to record my raw data on the sf7?

Haha, this device costs as much as the A7s does. Hilarious! For the money you can just get a Sony video camera with internal 4K - just as bulky as this set-up!

Bought the entire set up and im totally i get 4K :)
