Can you lock the camera forwards and hold it like a TV-remote? This was the most annoying thing with the first Pocket. You can't just have it point forward with gimbal off. There are situations where you don't want the gimbal on. Trying to follow a fast dog or cat is impossible because the head is so sluggish. The image quality in the first one is superb.

Is there a physical buttoned shortcut to quickly switch between the gimbal mode? Like a trigger button on a camera gimbal?

Pls have a setting to turn off gimbal function if not recording...

This is to not overwork motor people tend tend to walk around their osmo while their thinking what to record and that consumes lots of battery and exhaust gimbal motors.

What if gimbal only turns on when recording.

Why don't you state about the big heating problem that leads to sudden switching off after a short time of use?
In Europe it is dramatically more evident!
Look for a solution as soon as possible!

This lock mode locks on a target. I want to lock the gimbal so the gimbal doesn't move. Is there something I can do? If not, I'm forced to return this camera.

It sucks that there is no way to actually lock the gimbal, I thought I would be having the freedom to use the gimbal or use it as if it was a regular camera. So now I’m stuck have to use 2 cameras for the shots I want while driving

the sad part is that whole video is not the quality you get on the Pocket 3 - They used a camera to shoot this ad that has a lens that gives that nice Bokeh
