I love the MSR, and got one at IAE with the Best-in-Show blue paint. It's a great multi-roll ship, and if you can only have 1 ship in your hangar at its price point, the MSR would be the top choice for many players for the reasons that you shared in this video.

The MSR is near perfect; but it really needs its a second ingress/egress point perhaps even as a docking port for ship-to-ship docking.

I love the MSR, It's got style. I do however wish it was a bit better gun fitted for a solo pilot. For this reason alone, I'd choose the Corsair over it.

Thanks Vici for another great vid about my absolute favorite ship! I use it for everything from daily driver, cargo runner and touring vessel through to solo bounty hunting and crewed adventures. I'm a lawful citizen so haven't needed to use the shielded cargo space for...other... types of cargo but do use it to keep those prying pirate eyes off what I don't want them to see. GREAT all around ship to live in the 'verse with.

I actually have one and love it. Though i admit that the interior layout as well as questionable design choices (no second entrance, the secret tunnel end at the only entrance without a service hatch to lead out side on the bottom) are things that could improve. I actually like the speed and don't mind the little pilot controlled weapons. But recent shield changes didn't do much of a favor for the MSR, which is a big target. But that could also change.

Overall the MSR is a great ship. And its not done yet as mechanics it utilises aren't in yet.

Fantastic vid dude!! I absolutely love my MSR and its typically my most used ship. I love the ramp access since my Connie's elevators have blown up or flipped my ship so many times now and I love the whole smuggling aspect of it.

Nice top 5 list. To bad 2 of those options are still non existent and for the current game. There are many better options for 5mil. I hope they implement data running soon… so the ship gets more viable than just touring :(

Thanks for another amazing video! If the MSR isn't thw biggest wink to the Millenium Falcon, I don't know what is! Can't say this ship is my cup of tea, but IMO, this kind of multi-role, Multi-crew, large-ish (50 - 70m) ships will be by far the most popular and those we see the most in the verse, especially when more star systems are added and the need for space, amenities and versatility becomes primordial for the adventuring freelancers of the verse. I am curious to see what concepts they will come up with to add competition to this kind of ship (Andromeda, MSR, Corsair).

And talking of winks to other franchise, when will see the homage to Serinity (Firefly) or the Moya (Farscape, arguably could be filled by the BMM, but not anymore since it lost most of it's biomechanic/organic style), and many other beloved ships? I sure would like that. Not copying. Just winks, like the MSR is to the Millenium Falcon!

My thoughts is that you failed to mentioned it's fully functional chess board.
That is the major selling point that caused me to get one long ago.
