I think something a lot of people are missing is that Ana’s respect for George was predicated on his identity. She was willing to let her friends make fun of him because he didn’t know French. She told Ito Makoto his life story for no real reason. Yes George hid his identity but only in the moment and planned to tell her just to find out they were already engaged had she so much as talked to him beforehand this could’ve been avoided. His wealth and status was disproportionate to hers so he had to preserve his interests and vet her deeply in which she had succeeded just to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory when she decided to get engaged and make him her kept man on the side.

Fresh to see Willow and Anna swaping role. As for Anna passive observer through all of the situation, It was not right of her to only be passive but at the same time she nver wrong him directly. Still she should have had the decency to break things up when the marriage proposal arrived or at least not be shameless to try and play the relationship card when ask for help

I won't say that Anna was at wrong in this story. Anna genuinely loved George and also cared for him. She only accepted that marriage proposal for her families sake. But the only thing she did wrong was keeping George as her lover. If she really respect him then she wouldn't have kept him instead she would let him go and start a new life or she could have just told him her whole situation. The fact that she kept is secret from him and also wanted to make him as her plaything proves that she also looked down on him because he's from a poor background.

We forget that we humans love each other because of conditions. That's why we called love as a conditional emotion. That also means that Anna loved George because she pitied him and felt bad for him because he was poor. But if George revealed his identity from the very start of their relation they wouldn't be together for this long. Anna would leave him at some point.

Again we missed that part that if someone had cheated once they will cheat again in the future and if someone hadn't cheated but shows that she will cheat by her day to day actions then there is a high chance that they will cheat in the future.


Anna cheated on George proves that she no longer loves him. That's all.

For once, I would like the villain to learn from their mistake and turn over a new leaf, and find their happily ever after. In the stories were the main character goes back in time, they can avoid the mistake that ruined their life, but what about the villain? I would have loved, for example in this story for Anna to never meet Goerge again, and marry Mikoto. Then at the end of her life, she pray to every god she knows to let her fix this mistake. Then return past and stay with Goerge. Only to then find out he was rich all along.

He knew the pressures and annoyances that come with high society yet he played his little game to test the gf to her absolute limit? Sorry but I find it HARD to cheer on this rich boy playing pretend.

Despite all that dam do I love these hour plus long stories. Good sense of characters, plenty of juicy details, and the revenge that brings it all together? Chef kiss. The foundation for this is questionable but I can't deny that this one was one hell of a good listen. Archive it and see if I can spot that Willow and Ana changed...alignments?
