If you’re interested in moving to Dubai, it’s really something you have to experience for yourself.

Before this was an option, I had to meet many other criteria

examples
- no property in canada whatsoever
- no dependants/children
- deregister from cdn health care
- close cdn bank accounts
- full 12 month lease in dubai
- dubai personal and corporate banking
- dubai company set up, and all income i make is non canadian/non dubai income made through my dubai form
- file nr73 exit filing in canada
- pay exit tax in canada

Given the above, everything in the video is accurate for my own situation.

But do not watch a 20 second clip and think you have a full holistic picture of something related to international tax. Not possible to explain all of the nuances in a short form video.

Hire an accountant or lawyer, ideally in both canada and dubai and have your situation assessed.
