I have a Texas long distance relationship too Huntsville-Tyler. We differ in that I’m content with every other weekends and occasionally weekly. I do like waking up on the weekends and coffeee and date nights but I also enjoy my freedom during the week, my time to spend with friends as well as designated times for intimacy. He doesn’t have to wonder if I’m in the mood, the mood and expectation are preset and I like it that way.

Heather I’ve recently experienced a long distance relationship in spite of my initial reluctance to it due to his insistence of the fact that we could find a way to make it work. Fast forward a year and HE broke it off bc HE wanted someone closer! I know now that unless one of you are willing to move your whole life to be with the other it just doesn’t work. I know you’re going to make the right choice here bc you’re listening to your higher self and heeding your own guidance which is exactly what I didn’t do. Good luck and many blessings to you 🙏❤️

I can't speak to the long distance element of a relationship because I've never been there but if a deal breaker is already in play and a break up has already occurred because of that, then it might be time to move on before it becomes a pattern. Like you were saying, make room for what you know you want. "Settling" always catches up with people later on. Of course if this ISN'T a case of settling and you aren't keeping each other from pursuing what truly makes you both happy, then you're both very blessed to be together as is now. Either way, I pray for your happiness and wish you the best.

Another great video Heather. I recently brought a pair of flat lace up sandals, and the lace ups keep falling down. Any suggestions for keeping the style laced up whether the shoes are flat or heeled.

Hey there Heather. You know if you really missed him and regretted trying to separate from him, then that could be a sign that you are getting feelings for him. Distance doesn't have to hinder you. A 2.5 hour drive to see him is nothing to us folks up in Michigan. You can work the distance thing out if you really are right for each other. Give yourself a little more time to get to know him.

Heather I watched your video yesterday and pondered what I wanted to tell you about your Austin man. If he is the right one (which you can determine over the next few months) don't give up on love. YOu can do your job in Austin and let's face it- Austin and Dallas aren't too far away. You could also meet halfway in Fredericksberg or Waco or it's a simple 40 min sw flight! Your friends will stay your friends; but love is no guarantee. He really seems to care for you and your feelings. Plus- you'd always have Matthew if it didn't work out lmao!
