Another absolute masterpiece from Mili. I honestly wish that there were more music artists out there like her who focus all the aspects of their song to enhance the story being told. With every song there is a beautifully and tragically told story, and I really appreciate Mili for it. She's a real hidden gem and I'm glad she's getting the recognition she deserves from her involvement in Project Moon and others such as Ender Lilies and Vermeil in Gold

also me : I think this song pertaining about uncontrollable situation but also some injustices and death cause by authority/people that is sick that they've started doing things being out of control or losing their minds despite having morals from before (friendship/human connection turning differently) idk judge me 😭

And like questioning them, why they have to be the one to set the death of a person rather than that person's own death time/clock (idk I just really think of these thoughts from the line pre-approved killings) like yes we're going to die soon, but why make it advance?? (I hope y'all can get what I'm trying to say here) 😅

And "Hey, Gunner in the Rain" lone seems like the person singing might want to give this person a help or to somehow change their mind "Who keep you up all night?" I feel kind of translate to "Who hurt you, why you're like this?" and then lastly, this person singings says that he/she wanted to be what this person is thinking up all night, kind of hoping that controlled person/gunner will change their mind from that torturous behaviour.


and guess what it didn't work, I guess since in the end, the pov of the singer in this song, says they also seem like a gunner in the rain, someone who is also in an uncontrollable situation/position. Then I feel they chooses to just accept things as they are.

Same to our world nowadays, it's corrupted. People commit crimes, injustices, killings, wars and etc. People also petitions, fight for injustices, rallies and try to make the world a better place but literally, that didn't change the fact that we're in this uncontrollable world/situation.


Sad life as it seems yet that is the so called "Life" here. 😌
