Great, great interview. Especially the last ten minutes, that overview explains so much. I'm an American, and despite the corporate media lies that served to justify his murder, I always felt Solomeini was a very special person, just from seeing the corporate media images of him at the airport shortly before he was killed, and other photos and video clips shown at the time. Something told me "This was a great man.". May his Soul rest in peace.

Thank you Nima and Pepe once again. Pepe gives us all a serious and much needed reality check. I had quite realised 2030 was the crunch date. Some years it was round about 2024 to 2026. 2030 must be the last optimum time as Pepe says. Well, if we know that so does Mr Putin and Mr Xi, probably better than anybody. Holy crap.

Nima: U r a true geopolitical analyst who knows his facts and the context of the new paradigms encircling us and WW3. It is astonishing (but not surprising) how Lex Friedman can be a guru to the unwashed on these issues with his New York Times/ABC biases whereas U deliver the real goods with deep thinkers and have 5% of his audience. Keep up ur good work with guests like Pepe who Friedman would never interview and U know why.

NATO is not a defensive alliance. They illegally bombed Yugoslavia (direct violation of the UN Charter). We must never forget what they did to Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria etc.
NATO needs to understand that playing Russian roulette with a nuclear superpower is never a good idea.
