How to Create a Responsive Website from Scratch - Part 3: The About Section #Responsive #CSS

Показать описание
In this series, I look at how to create a responsive agency / portfolio style website from start to finish, using HTML and CSS.

In this video, I tackle writing the CSS for the About Section, which turned out to be a lot more challenging than I thought it would be.

I use a few fun techniques in this video, including the outline and outline-offset properties. It was a fun video to make, I hope you enjoy watching it!

If you've got any feedback, please, let me know! (I mean, if you actually read all this, at least take the time to say "hi!").

Do you want to follow along? Here are my files!

i have been trying to learn web development for a month and this is the first tut I have seen that actually walks you through an example of making an actual responsive page. YOU ARE A LIFESAVER. THANK YOU. KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK.

I love that you've got stuck few times and haven't edited any of those moments, but solved problems by trying stuff, its so ez to find many vids putting only good things on, but here we have true life situations, where you have to solve issues which came up here and there, and its way more interesting to see your tries when u fight with that padding then just watch clean tut.. Thank you. Sry for my imperfect English, still learning..

Dude, your videos are all encompassing and leave nothing out. It's amazing that someone with no coding experience like me can tune in to your channel and learn a lot about web development. Thank you for all the incredibly valuable content you provide! I'm definitely looking forward to consuming all of them.

Even though you jumped around a lot like you said, you have such a great way of describing what you are doing, which helps the viewer learn by seeing and listening. I really am enjoying this series and learning a lot! Thank you. I'll be purchasing one of your shirts.

This has been the most helpful resource so far in my journey of learning HTML and CSS, so far I've only watched this series but I'm really excited to see the other content you have in your channel!

Is there a video explaining how to set up a localhost in order to test out some websites? So far I've used a few websites like codepen but they all change the website too much to the point that it would almost become a different one, thank you and I hope to see more content from you!

Hello Kevin,
at 21:00 minute, can't we just increase the 'left' value instead of using transform:translateX(0); ?
also i am confused when to use 'top' and when to use 'margin-top' .
