my advice to democrats, drop "trump bad" and stop taking corporate donations, stop doing corporate bidding, stop supporting corporate politicians, literally abandon that minority of people and embrace the left, as the majority of americans support left wing ideas when presented with them as policy seperate from politicians.

What Youngkin did in his campaign is what Larry Elder should've did in the CA Recall: keep his distance from Trump. California is the bluest state in the U.S, meaning that getting even in a 10-mile radius of Trump is going to be suicidal. The other candidates understood this, but unfortunately Larry Elder didn't, and due to him being the frontrunner, he singlehandedly destroyed any chances of the recall meaning squat. Had he played his cards better or someone else was the frontrunner, the vote could've been closer and caused Newsom to rethink his policies.
