Pygame Space Invaders Beginner Tutorial in Python - PART 9 | Adding A Countdown

In this Python tutorial I code Space Invaders using the PyGame module. I'm going to add some finishing touches and add a countdown to the start of the game.

I am getting an AttributeError: 'str' object has no attribute 'render'
Happens when I pass in str(countdown), anyone know a fix?

I think you should add a score variable and looping the game until the player dies, and maybe I hope you increas the level of the game when the score get higher, I mean the game was too boring if there is only 1 level and the difficult was too easy (sorry for my english)
