When you think of a jalapeno popper, what's not to love? I mean, you've got jalapeno bacon cream cheese - I don't know about you, but I'm already drooling! Then, you duck breast and it's just the cherry on top, but in the middle in this case!
Okay so baked jalapeno poppers with cream cheese and bacon plus we add duck breast to just give them an extra edge. When it comes to wrapped in bacon recipes this has to be one of the best! Okay so how to make baked jalapeno poppers? Well, it's pretty easy! There are only 6 ingredients in for the entire dish!
Jalapeno Duck Poppers Recipe:
Duck Breast
Halved and Seeded Jalapenos
Cream Cheese
Hickory Smoked Bacon
Hoisin sauce
You want to start by tempering the bacon for around 10-15 minutes at a low temp, around 325. This will help get the bacon up to temp without burning everything else. While you wait for the bacon to cool, you can start removing the fat from the duck breasts and cutting into jalapeno sized bites. You will want to do the same with the cream cheese. Then you will need to halve and seed the jalapenos. Finally, it's time to assemble. You want to stuff the cream cheese into a halved jalapeno, then add the duck breast and wrap in bacon. We placed half upside down and the other half right side up and then baked at 400 degrees for around 15 minutes, rotating halfway through. Once you're done, you've got stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon and these are some of the best baked jalapeno poppers you'll ever have! Just drizzle some hoisin sauce over top and enjoy!
We hope you enjoyed our jalapeno duck poppers recipe and give it a go for yourselves sometime! They're sure to not disappoint!
