Agia Marina to Aegina

Agia Marina is a settlement of Aegina with a sandy organized beach. According to the 2011 census it has 277 inhabitants. Agia Marina is a holiday resort with hotels, rooms to let and dining areas. Until 1960 it was a small village whose inhabitants lived in livestock, agriculture and fishing. There is a direct ferry connection with Piraeus. The beach of Agia Marina has been awarded a blue flag.

Close to Agia Marina is the temple of Aphaia.
