"Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin" is a film depicting the real-life story of the late Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and it's already in the number four slot at the box office after opening weekend.
It's about the Christian pastor who resisted oppression and stood strong in his faith while facing religious persecution. He led a courageous battle against Hitler in the 1930s and 1940s risking his life to save Jews from genocide. John Scanlon, a producer for the film, was impressed with every detail he learned about Bonhoeffer.

This movie is SO, SO (!!!) GOOD - beautifully done and especially the lead actor is FANTASTIC - award-winning! Truly a MUST SEE!

I watched a YouTube special of this man. What a wonderful human being. He went to the states after helping so many Jewish people and others that Hitler wanted to kill. It was because it was so bad over in Germany. He felt guilty not helping the people and leaving them with no hope. He returned to Germany then a so called friend (after time) turned him in to Hitler’s regime.
He was hung. No one who witnessed his death had seen such a man with Gods truth, faith He left this world with the full love God in his heart and very bravely. He had the strength of Jesus’ truth in him. As a man witnessed in his observation.
He fully trusted Gods truth than he would enter the kingdom of heaven. It’s plain to see.
Actually it gives us a way to accept what may happen to us christians.
You’re going to love this movie.

I had never heard of Bonhoeffer, but am so glad I saw the movie and learned there were good people in Germany who opposed Hitler.

It's coming again, once again, its not far off. Where will you stand on that day? As a Christian Martyr or will you close your eyes and hide away in the dark. Never a more opportune time for this film.

Incredible movie and wonderful actors!! The book by Eric Mctexas is also incredible filling in the details that the movie couldn’t fit in
