I have to say, 100% honest, since YouTube suggested that Cassie Raptor set she did at Boiler Room in London, I am hooked!
I always was looking for that one artist, that would make me go "Oh shit, this is the sound that your innermost musical world wants to resonate with and wants to be filled by."
I mean that's the conclusion that my brain and my ears came to, after having everything I could find playing several times a week because there is nothing quite like her for my ears. And now imagine how out of touch with the (online & even the real) world I felt when I saw that I've been missing out on this for a month...I need to step up my notification and realese checking game, I guess! 😅
I really hope at least next year I will be able to get out of that cut off, remote hell in midst of paradise they call village, to finally see Cassie Raptor live and to finally stand in a crowd full of like minded people again after literal years. We literally don't even have public transportation from Friday evening to Monday morning...for clarity purposes might add that I'm in that part of Germany where the population of farm animals sometimes outgrows the human population. There is a literal village made up of 2 farms with houses, and that is sadly no exaggeration. But enough of the whining, most problems have multiple solutions, it's just a matter of time to find the best one. 😬
I honestly got nothing but love and respect for her and her style...please consider this, way too long, comment a declaration of love for her music and her style, by a fairly new, obsessed fan! 😂✌🏽
