Never in a million years did Putin ever think that he'd be fighting in his own country when he launched his "Three Day Special Operation" to overrun Ukraine.

Russia, tear Putin down, build a democracy and join the rest of the world in economic and personal freedom!

This is why dictatorships always fail. They put loyalty above all else, including and maybe especially competency. And to maintain that loyalty you need everyone on the take. So it guts out the competency. That’s the real reason why Kursk was able to be taken. All the manning, training, and equipment that would have fortified that area wasn’t there in reality. Putin thought he could take on Ukraine because he wanted to and when he asked if he could I’m sure his loyal stooges assured him he could. Putin can’t take Ukraine and while I don’t think Ukraine can realistically take Russia, it’s a win for Ukraine and a loss for Putin. He’s on borrowed time.

Lost his marbles even before he invaded Ukraine..his mind was filled with bitterness decades ago when the Soviet Union was broken up.He has let that cloud his judgement.

Putin has always suffered from a "Napoleon complex", the condition typically attributed to people of short stature, with overly aggressive or domineering social behavior.

We should stop talking about a peace treaty and start about the conditions of the surrender of Russia

You nailed it. Ukraine is practicing Joint Arms Warfare only substituting drones for the navy. I saw an update the other day that the war was costing Russia $700 million / day counting money, weapons, loss of labor, technology failures and increasingly, the daily explosions of weapons and depot dumps, air fields, refineries, factories and trains. Follow the money.

Hamish calling the Kursk incursion a black swan event is an insightful first. Thank you, sir!

Poopin will lose this ridiculous war, he absolutely bit off more than he can chew. The end of the bully is when he messes with someone that "fights back".

This man always seems to look on the bright side for Ukraine.
I hope he’ll be proved right one day.

It just shows that mankind never learns. Killing one another over the graves of the thousands of dead lost in war. No matter what the technology.
