Last year a local farmer and his wife, keepers of doves, passed. We took in 6 doves, all mated pairs. Little did we know that doves would produce so many offspring. The farmer and his wife sold doves for wedding events, etc. We're letting the doves enjoy life. They have full range from the rafters to the floor of 4800 s.f. of space, flying above the partitions into each section at their leisure. They sun themselves when the sun is shining, take dust baths in the bottom of the coop (their favorite thing to do) and have nests placed about the coops to use when they're laying. A reminder, all animals posted to this site are pets.
