Europe's dining customs may be different from what you're used to back home. And in this travel talk, Rick Steves' Europe guidebook co-author Cameron Hewitt offers practical tips on those differences. You'll learn how asking for the "menu" might have surprising results, why Italians rarely order all four courses (and eat their salad after their pasta), and why Europeans tip less than Americans do — and travelers should, too.

I don’t think that either way is good or bad - it’s just a cultural difference. People always act like everything the US does is stupid or inferior or horrible.
