I agree pastor cooper, only have one problem, in order for me to display God's beauty, i would need to be born again and hope that this time God makes me handsome instead of a smartass.

LOL. You know what Mr. Pastor, do you think african tribes putting on lip plates or body scarring is a thing of beauty?
Because, sans external domination, these body altercations are perceived as elements of beauty, and I am sure they generate same sense of amazement in them as any article of traditional beauty will invoke in an european.

Your grip on philosophy is so "theological", since the gospel of john and st. Augustin, there has never been a divorce between greek philosophy and theology. But acceptable or intuitive philosophies change with time. Greek philosophy has been rubbished a thousand times since enlightenment, you are waging a lost battle on a desolate
battle field. As a matter of fact many secular/atheist philosophers provide a much robust case for religion.
Modern culture does not take rhetoric seriously, even the ones it itself preaches.

The problem is that what you are saying is not per se a "christian" view, but an interpretation or opinion or shanaigian of someone like st. aquinas, anselm or st. augustin etc. You dont need to defend ancient greek categories and definitions, they are not christian to begin with.
They are some kind of acceptable or pious heresies, which seemed cool to early church.
