I appreciate you keeping it real by doing an honest share here on what you paid. Dear god, the financials on that car. The dealer took advantage of your zealous nature. If your bank was 5%, why didn't you finance through them. 9% on a 710 score is madness. Plus, you bought all the add-on fluff sold by the finance manager. All of those add-on options are negotiable. Most finance managers start at twice the price of what they should actually cost. That dealership must LOVE you : ) $1, 080 is a MORTGAGE payment. If you're happy though, I'm happy.

Good lord, I just got a 2022 1ss 1le with pdr for 46k otd at 4%. That dealer screwed you. All those extra addons and warranty are pure profit for the dealership

I got my 2021 2SS for about $2k off MSRP and they wouldn't haggle at all. It was one of only 3 V8 stick shift Camaros within 150 miles of me and I had to drive an hour to get it. Fortunately it just happened to also have a sunroof and magnetic ride control plus the Shock and Steel package which is kind of cool. Sadly it did not have dual mode exhaust, that is the only thing I wanted that I didn't get. The standard exhaust is very quiet but not about to piss off my entire neighborhood by swapping it out. Honestly the car is great but if my 2011 2SS hadn't been totaled by hail damage I would still be driving that.

I totally agree. I tried to sell Chevy's for a week.. Quit, because I can't screw people over to make my money

Beautiful car. One way it could be better is if it had the 6-speed manual. Again stunning car I own one myself in wild cherry tint coat but I got the six speed manual. Why? Because it is simply more fun, they are rare and they will go up in value. This is one of the last V-8 powered manual transmission cars produced. Oh sure the automatic is 1/ 10th of the second faster on the track but most people don’t track these cars they drive them for enjoyment and that’s why you should get the manual next time. Again no disrespect it’s a beautiful car but drive the manual. It will change your life.

The problem is you ended up paying almost 62k for a 2ss camaro that is worth no where close to that. That is why your interest rate was so crazy, the more upside down you are on a car the more risk the bank is taking, therefore the more your interest rate. I plan on getting a 2023 2ss 1le camaro but I'm going to skip all warranties outside of gap which I will get through my insurance. I will also put down 2-3k so my out the door should be around 54k. With that my APR should be low, last camaro I finance was a new 2020 which I got 3% for 72 months about a year ago.

I just got a 2024 2ss and I love it. I didn't want the 1 LE mainly because it comes with thing's I really don't need beside the 7k extra cost to the price. 🤙

I'm a manual transmission guy. The 10 speed is fine if you're just trying to race all the time because of the speed. The manual transmission offers a true driving experience... The manual transmission also puts down more power and when it's time to resell. The tend to go for more money because they hold more value

Also, tt doesn't have a spare in order to reduce vehicle weight since the 1LE package is intended for those who choose a more performance version.

I ordered mine in that color back in early 2022 and ended up getting it in red because pAinT supply was low and they didn't have the color so immediately defaulted to red, it looked great so I took it anyways but I'd have loved the gray

Interest right now are a lot higher. I was offered 8.7% with a 770 credit. What hurts me is I have never financed a car or had a mortgage. Always paid cash. I’ll refinance after a few months to get it lower

Never fall in love with a car….the depreciation is immediate and do not ever start talking about payments until the price of the car is agreed upon….go to your bank first a get approved so when you do go into a dealership you have more leverage….they want that backend money, don’t fall for their BS…..and finally, don’t be afraid to get up and walk if you don’t get the deal you want…..remember “ it’s not the deal you got, it’s the deal you THINK you got “…..the dealer will f@#& you, if you let them…..

There's no spare tire because one goal of the track package or if you're racing is to reduce weight. And if you're a real racer you don't need a spare tire, you need a pit crew 😂
