This book spoke to me more than any other book I’ve read. God’s unconditional and redemptive love for me. I have read it 3 times and saw the movie. It touches my heart every single time!

I've read this book so many times! I also used to purchase extra copies and I gave them out at work to a few patients that saw me reading my copy. One patient read it so quick on day shift, but I told her she could keep it and she cried! I LOVE LOVE this book!!! New Subscriber here!

🙌🙌🙌🙌❤❤❤ hearing your thoughts!! My personal takeaway from the story (among other similar stories) is that humanity is depraved, full of sin, and needs Jesus. And I don't think it's constructive and helpful if we pretend depravity doesn't exist or try to sugar-coat certain things. I think Francine Rivers writes honest and brutal human experiences which is why I understand why some people don't like her books... But for me personally after reading Redeeming Love and her Mark of the Lion series, I felt seen, understood, and I grew in my walk with God. I came to understand that my sin is NOT unforgivable. My past is worthy of redemption and healing because of Jesus' blood. And I think her stories portray that in such a powerful way! Also my grandmother is a very traditional Christian and won't read any books with sexual content, violence, etc. But she adores Redeeming Love! Especially because it's a retelling of Hosea and Gomer!
