This is the Re Issue of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D. This version features a separating saucer section as well as lit B and C decks.

I was very happy with the NCC 1701 Kirks enterprise i got from playmates within the year with the sounds and lightups. Excited for this one as well. Also love your Titianic piece.. cool stuff man .. tx

I have the original 90s one still in my bedroom! This one is nice too! But man those bright yellow windows, I can't get past that. But the separating saucer is awesome!

I still love Andrew Proberts design of the Enterprise D! I can't wait to get my own Enterprise D from playmates 2023!

I liked that Playmates attempted to Reissue the Enterprise-D with the Saucer Section feature, but as always you are spot on as far as the inaccuracies (missing lower phaser strip, no impulse engine lighting up, etc..). 1 thing that Playmates sort of got right is the colors (not the Reddish Orange) right on the deflector dish, but the wrong shape. The one from the previous version was just right.

Awesome, I used to have one of these growing up but i think it was the first contact version, because it had battle damage as well with the separating saucer, i used to love hate the Ent-D only because the saucer was oval lol i was always thinking it was circular like the old Enterprise. but that was me being a kid and never really watched much of the show like i did later on being older

Nothing beats the DST ships, but it's good to have something affordable out there for folks that missed them.

I was excited to get this, but I’ll be honest the diamond select spoiled me with the details, and I don’t think I’m going to get this one. It’s still very nice, congrats on getting it Jerry!

I figured I'd end up picking this up but after seeing a few of these videos now it's a definite pass. It looks grossly unfinished, and the 90s one had so much more fine detail where this one looks as smooth as an android's bottom (even in the saucer impulse engines which were ridged in the original)

The way the window painting on the star drive just abruptly stops as it gets to the deflector ... 🤮

This thing is such a massive fail that I don't even want to mention everything in detail.. if you can not even effort black color for lightblocking, don't start mass production. Terrible.
(old D has lightblock color)
