The Imagineering Story's first episode reminds me of how Disneyland and Disney+ started the same way - several months of failures, repairs and criticisms. After the park opened, Walt himself said, "This is just stage dressing. We're just getting started." Disney keeps moving forward. Eventually, things will get better.

My grandfather, Ed Thomas, was one of the Early Imagineers who worked with Walt Disney to create things such as the Pirates of the Caribbean and others. I have some personal items given to him by walt himself that are priceless to me.
What I would do to talk with him more about the amazing processes they went through.
I hope to visit Disneyland with my 8 year old son one day to show him what my "Paw paw" helped create.
