In this video we explore how to determine the complex zeros of a polynomial function by factoring and division. We also will explore the fundamental theorem of algebra, Descartes rule of signs, and the rational zero test.

Hey Mr, Brian, I just want to ask a question, should I always introduce the plus or minus sign when I take the square root? If so, why do we always say like when we have an answer of x squared is equal to 4 so the x is equal to 2.

we have been learning equations where we are given high degrees (like 7) and we are given zeros with i´s and multiplicities (with this we write a polynomial). I´m fine with the foiling stuff but after that, we are supposed to write it as a product of linear factors and I am totally lost.
