When he explains it slowly, it looks like a 2 downstrum + 1 upstrum.

But actually it’s 1 downstrum + 1/2 downstrum + 1 upstrum in full high speed execution.

I think the best way to do tutorials about execution of technique that requires speed is to have a slow-mo camera while making the artists play at their normal high speeds. Just look at how Troy Grady does it, Pickupmusic 😅
