[MHW Iceborne Beta] How to correctly perform the Perfect Rush Combo on SnS

Executing the Perfect Rush combo with the right timing can deal almost double the dmg on the new Sword and Shield move in Monster Hunter World Iceborne.

The key is to time your triangle correctly and not button mash your way through the combo.

What is the actual timing to initiate the Perfect Rush? Cause, occasionally instead of the leaping slash activating, it just does an Advancing Slash, and i can't seem to figure out if i'm doing the input too late, or too early, or what. It's pretty annoying and wastes precious "the monster's stunned" time.

Been on YouTube all night trying to figure out this stupid weapon no matter what I do not a single tutorial can get me to do the perfect rush and not a single person has done a vid on the slide I’ve done it by accident n still can’t do it 😂 🔫

so I do it right the dmg feels a bit low maybe the elemtal dmg gets a buff from it ?

Are you able to spam the leaping slash like you could with the charge slash in MH4U?
Like: CS, X, CS, X, CS...

So what I'm really asking is: are you able to backhop cancel the first attack after the new leaping slash?

I'm sure doing the whole combo after is optimal dps, but I just gotta know.

Sucks that charging does nothing for the leaping slash itself, the ultimate wide sweep for GS does get buffed depending on how much charge you had before you canceled with tackle, so I don't get why SnS can't have it's cake and eat it as well 🤷‍♂️
